Why Bumi Prism Exists
Bumi Prism was founded in Singapore in 2021 by a small group of practitioners who had spent years helping organisations work through technology transitions. What they kept noticing — across industries and across team sizes — was a consistent pattern: organisations were being presented with AI as though it were something to be adopted quickly, and the results were predictably uneven.
Teams would come away from short training bursts with awareness but little confidence. Leaders would commission AI initiatives and find the technology deployed before their people were ready to use it well. The investments were real; the lasting capability was hard to find.
The founding team wanted to try a different approach — one that treated AI capability as something that grows at the pace of the people involved, not the pace of the technology. Bumi Prism's programmes were designed from this starting point: structured, contextualised, and deliberately unhurried.
Today, the team works with organisations across financial services, healthcare administration, professional services, and public sector contexts in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian region.

What We Stand For
Mission and Values
Our mission is to help Singapore organisations develop a working relationship with AI — one that is considered, sustainable, and genuinely useful in the day-to-day operations of real teams.
Patience as Method
We resist the pull toward speed for its own sake. The organisations we work with have complex, busy realities — and sustainable learning requires time that is respected, not compressed.
Context Over Formula
There is no single correct path for AI adoption. Every engagement begins with listening — to your sector, your team, your ambitions — before any programme content is shaped.
Responsibility in Practice
AI adoption raises real governance, ethical, and social questions. We help organisations address these alongside capability, not as an afterthought.
The Team
People Behind the Work
Our team combines backgrounds in organisational learning, applied technology, change management, and governance — brought together around a shared approach to how AI adoption should work.
Reza Lim
Director, Learning Design
Over fifteen years in organisational learning across Singapore and Malaysia. Reza leads programme design and ensures every engagement is grounded in how adults actually develop new skills.
Siti Nabilah
Head of Technology Integration
A former solutions architect who moved into the learning and development field after noticing how rarely technology projects invested sufficiently in the people side of adoption.
Calvin Tan
Governance and Policy Adviser
Specialises in AI governance frameworks and responsible deployment. Calvin brings a legal and policy background to help organisations build structured, accountable approaches to AI use.
Our Standards
Quality and Professional Standards
How we approach the quality and conduct of every engagement — the commitments that underpin our work regardless of programme scope.
Continuing Professional Development
All Bumi Prism facilitators maintain active CPD engagement with AI and learning design developments, with minimum annual learning hours tracked internally.
Data Privacy and Confidentiality
All organisational information shared during engagements is treated with strict confidentiality. We comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act in all aspects of our work.
Structured Scoping Protocol
Every engagement begins with a documented scoping process to ensure programme design reflects the client organisation's actual context, not a generic starting point.
Inclusive Learning Design
Programmes are designed to be accessible across varying levels of prior knowledge, language backgrounds, and learning styles common in Singapore's diverse workforce.
Post-Programme Review
We conduct structured reviews with client organisations after programme completion to assess outcomes and identify areas where follow-up support would be useful.
Ethical AI Principles
Our governance work aligns with the Singapore Model AI Governance Framework and the IMDA's AI Verify standards, ensuring client frameworks are locally grounded.
AI Capability Development for Singapore Organisations
Building working AI capability across an organisation requires more than a series of seminars. It requires a design that accounts for different roles, different starting points, and the practical pressures that shape how much time and attention any team can genuinely commit. Bumi Prism's programmes are structured with these realities in mind.
Singapore's position as a technology hub brings both opportunity and pressure. Organisations face real expectations to demonstrate AI literacy and adoption — from regulators, from partners, and from their own boards. At the same time, the workforce developing AI tools is moving faster than most organisations can comfortably track. Bumi Prism helps bridge this gap by translating the most relevant AI developments into language and frameworks that are actionable for your specific context.
Our team brings direct experience across sectors that carry particular weight in Singapore's economy — financial services, healthcare administration, professional services, logistics, and public sector functions. This sectoral knowledge shapes how we contextualise AI concepts, which use cases we discuss in depth, and what governance considerations we prioritise in each engagement.
Whether your organisation is looking to start from a well-grounded position, build hands-on skills across your workforce, or pursue a comprehensive integration of AI into your operations and governance, Bumi Prism offers a programme designed for where you are and where you intend to go.
